Washington, DC -- We are pleased to announce that the Eduit.org website has just gone live. We are currently building out the back office of the organization and K12 Online Education initiative.

$50,000 matching gift pledge secured.

Washington, DC -- A $50,000 matching gift plegde has been secure to help EDUIT leverage foundation and grant investments.

NY advertizing veteran Chris Griggs Joins K12 Initiative

Washington D.C. – Chris Griggs joins the Eduit, Inc. Board of Directors. Mr. Griggs is a former senior advertising executive with Bates Worldwide that oversaw the positioning of leading brands. Mr. Griggs now works as an independent consultant for a number of niche firms, including work with Time Warner.

“It’s great to have Chris on board. He is just the kind of guy we need when it comes to brand positioning, and marketing. I believe, there are few individuals with his passion, ability and expertise when it comes to positioning a product to win.”

Education Specialist Jeremy Payne accepts nomination to join EDUIT, Inc. Board

Washington DC – Jeremy Payne, Vice President with Bank of America, has accepted nomination to be on the EDUIT Board. Jeremy brings with him over 10 years of experience in various Educational Settings including Higher Education, Membership Associations, and For-profit corporations. He has a strong program development background, and will be a great asset as the K12 Initiative moves forward.

Alan Guinn Joins EDUIT Board of Directors

Washington DC – Alan Guinn, Managing Director of The Guinn Consultancy Group Inc, has joined the K12 team to head up strategic planning and project development. With over 30+ years in all aspects of business development Alan adds substantial experience and expertise to the initiative.

Indian IT leader joins 2008 K12 Online Education Initiative

Washington-DC -- C.Umashankar IAS., (TamilNadu Cadre) e-governance expert & Managing Director, of ELCOT (Electronic Corporation of TamilNadu Limited, Chennai) Has joined the EDUIT, Inc Board of Directors. EDUIT (Education, Information Technology) is the nonprofit behind K12 and who will be securing research funding to help develop the initiative.

About C.Umashankar IAS.,:
An Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer allotted to the Tamil Nadu cadre. He joined the Indian Administrative Services in 1990, and since then he has held various positions in the government of Tamil Nadu. Mr. Umashankar's vision is to see an e-Governance based Public Administration in India, and a corruption-free society.
